I thought I better do a journal for the book before I forget what I thought when I go 'in' tomorrow. I still have about 20 pages left. I did like the way the 6 stories are interlinked, and each story mentions the period which comes before it in some way. I thought some bigger links might come into the 2nd half of the book but they didn't. I liked the Luisa Rey msytery best of the stories - maybe I just like a strong female lead, or a good thriller! I found the middle section set in the future when civilisation has broken down really hard to get through though - they used enough ' marks for about 20 books! Read Jan 24th 2007
