This book was really interesting, especially as it's theoretically YA. It took me a while to get into, partly because the writing is rather dense and a little too "I have a great vocabulary" for me. However, the characters really won me over, and in the end, the story is compelling and interesting, and I liked it in the end.

This one is by far my most favorite of this series. The Dominance and submission aspects she puts into this within the pack/prides and such...it is very obvious to me that Ms. Hamilton did her research into this world/realm before she wrote this one.

Loved this one almost as much as the first... Wanted to live near Plum Creek too!

Block's stories are weird and fantastical, but they have such tactiled descriptions that you get sucked in. The story "Rave" is my favorite, and I have re-read it like 5 times!
