Very bizarre, like more bizarre than anything else I've called bizarre. There are two acts: one in colonial Africa, one in present day England. They feature the same characters, except in the present day I'm pretty sure some of them are gay.

Little slow in the beginning but picked up in the middle. Seemed like there should have been a book before this one.
