Heartbreaking.

Very charming graphic novel biography! The illustrations are well done, and the layout was well crafted to suit the expressive dance of the subject herself, Isadora.

Upon first look, this book looked a little juvenile, but it does tell quite the interesting story about 7th grader young Celeste, who learns how to deal with all of the difficult people around her, as well as make a couple of new friends. Celeste was bullied about her wait until her Aunt secretly entered her in a modeling competition for plus sized girls, then she thought the only way she could get out of it was to lose weight. Celeste did lose weight, but she still came in second place of the contest with a changed mind.
