Quick, fun read. I loved the escapism of living vicariously as a 22-year old in rural Japan teaching English, and loved that the characters were perfectly imperfect. Writing is smooth, the foibles and cultural double entrendres well-rendered, and interesting supporting characters and subplots to round it out.
