Tilda süslü püslü bir T harfi yapmış ve onu hediye etmişti. En çok adının T harfini seviyordu çünkü. Hamza ise matematikten anlamakta zorlandığı konuyu çok iyi çalışmış ve bu konuyu anlatmıştı mektubunda. Dilek, kahramanı öğretmenimiz olan bir öykü yazmıştı. The calligraphy in this book is so cool, I eventually bought a second copy and cut the pages out to laminate and put on the fridge. Great gift.

These Codex Alera books are extemely fast-moving, action packed, and engaging. Good stuff all around. We meet two new species that are both hell-bent on destroying humanity, and our hero (Tavi) and his family are faced with overwhelming odds posed by the independent actions of the new villains. Meanwhile, an alliance is forged with the enemy from the first book through multiple struggles. And, kissing ensues. Can't wait to get to Book 3... waiting for the paperback!

I love Melina Marchetta, she brings characters to life like no one else does. The Piper's Son is the companion book to Saving Francesca, there is not need to actually read one to understand the other, but believe when I say they are BOTH worth reading. I can't even describe how good this book was. Thomas has definitely grown and he is going through a lot of issues. And I loved that this book wasn't just about Tom, but about his aunt as well. There is so much anger & fear going on in this book, but it's about family & what happens when a terrible tragedy happens. Anyway, I LOVED this book. LOVED it. EVERYONE should read it.
