I was awed when I first received this book for review. I usually begin by actually reading words, but not so with this book. I was immediately drawn to the countless photos that awaited me. Author, David Nieves, has produced a work in honor of, Nat Fein, a photographer working in New York City around 1940-1980. Mr. Fein took photos that truly captured the soul of the event, person or animal that he was gazing upon. It is truly amazing to see the results he achieved. You will find many photos of famous people, such as Jackie Kennedy, and Babe Ruth just before he left this world. A remarkable photo that you will not soon forget. He also took outstanding photos of animals that seemed to express their sorrow or joy, and events that many have only read about. This is a great book, one that you will treasure for years to come and pass along to other family members. I highly recommend it.
