I just love this whole series, mainly because of the wit and sarcasm of the title character, Bartimaeus. All around, it's a well written fantasy series, and another good point is that it's only 3 books long (I hate series that go on too long).

I gave this book a 2/5 rating because it wasnt what I expected. It was a pretty good book but it was kind of boring for the most part. It was slow to begin with and didnt really pick up much speed throughout the story. It would just transition from the girls life at school then at home then at work and do it all over again in the next chapter. It just showed the slow progression of her overall life and her problems between her family and friends and her love life, although things got better for her in the end. I thought I could somewhat relate to what she was going through so i chose it but it wasnt sucha great book. Like when you read it, you flip through the pages pretty quickly but once you put it down you dont feel like picking it up and reading more.
